Westlife arrives in Manila for one-night show



MANILA, Philippines - Popular Irish boy band "Westlife" is now in Manila for a one-night show.
The concert, part of Westlife's "Gravity tour" will be held Thursday (September 29) at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
Westlife is best known for hit songs "Swear It Again," "Flying Without Wings," "If I Let You Go" and "Unbreakable."
The boy band also became popular for its cover version of "Uptown Girl."
On Thursday, Westlife landed on the top trending local topics of the microblogging site Twitter.
Pinoy netizens could not help but share their excitement for Westlife's return to Manila.
"aaaaaaaaaaaaah! I'm so excited! I just can't hide it! #Westlife," Earth Rullan tweeted.
Althea Perez said: "Still have a low grade fever, but it won't stop me from seeing Westlife tonight with my girls ☺ ☺ #westlifegravitytour."

The hashtag #Westlife made it to the 7th spot on Twitter's list of top trending topics for the Philippines on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, Star Magic artist Young JV was chosen as the opening act to Westlife's concert.
